Marie's Story

On September 21st my partner was admitted to our local hospital for a procedure
to determine if he had a blood clot in his lower right leg. It was expected to result in a couple of days of bed rest but ended up being a life sentence of trauma and grief.

Beverley's Story

In a Kelowna emergency dept my 90 y/o mom, had been subject to a serious overdose of someone else's medication... Mother's Day weekend, 2020, she started on the call bell, calling for help constantly and she actually never stopped calling for help until Dec.18th, the day she died.

Leigh's C-Section Story

Colleen's Spinal Surgery Story

My nightmare began when I was operated on my c spine for a metal fusion. I was still in constant pain and it took me months to convince someone to do an x-ray on my neck to see what was wrong. The screws came out. During the subsequent surgery, they managed to break my neck in both spots where the doctor had tried bigger screws.
